Thank you to Sentara Health for a grant to support Elect Ladies residents transition to permanent housing along with providing emergency shelter assistance to local individuals and families in need.
CLIENT'S TESTIMONIAL
Before meeting Mrs. Patricia of Elect Ladies in August 2020, I was living in a homeless shelter. I had no job, no degree, no relationship with my family, and my only source of income was Social Security Disability.
Since having transitioned out of Elect Ladies Transition Home in January 2022, I was able to my own housing, obtain my associate’s and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and continue my education by enrolling in a Master’s Program with Jack Welch Management Institute through Strayer University. I have been able to rebuild to my relationship with my immediate family and find the love of my life. I have also been able to obtain a part-time employment with a staffing agency while in school and keep my major source of income, SSDI, in the meantime.
What a blessing it is to have been introduced to Mrs. Patricia and Elect Ladies organization!
