Our story
Elect Ladies Transition Home is a 501 C-3 faith based organization that houses homeless single females. Elect Ladies has served hundreds of homeless individuals with the programs that it offers. Over 30 women have stayed in the Elect Ladies Transition Home and have gone through its awesome program to become self-sufficient and stable. All transition home services are provided to the women along with the empowerment skills, referrals and counseling services. In addition to the services it provides it residents, Elect Ladies also provides individual mental health counseling services to all of its residents on an individual basis once a week. Elect Ladies also teaches a recovery program dealing with hurts, habits, and hang-ups to the men and women staying in the Prince William County Homeless Shelter. Additional services to the community include a one time security deposit to help women get settled in permanent housing and emergency shelter of up to three nights in a hotel during extreme temperatures.

Executive Director: Dr. Patricia A. Profit
Patricia is the founder and executive director of Elect Ladies Transition Home. Patricia has worked as a federal civil servant for over 27 years. She has a PhD in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She greatly enjoy spending time with her family, traveling, volunteering, and talking to women.
Executive Director and founder of Elect Ladies Transition Home and Elect Ladies Counseling LLC. Patricia works full time for the Federal Government. Dr. Profit received her PhD in Professional Counseling, has a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a Master’s degree in Business. Her research is on Help Seeking Experiences of Black Women who Struggled with Post Partum Depression Symptoms. She greatly enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, volunteering, and talking to women. She resides in Woodbridge, VA with her husband and family.
Treasurer- Rhonda Isler-Dent is a retired Federal Government Civil Servant with over 30 yrs experience in the Department of Defense. Rhonda is pursuing her PhD in employment engagement, holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management majoring in Accounting and holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Program Management. Rhonda is a published author with her first published book in 2009 called “Ever Changing”. She has completed her 2nd book that is currently in the editing phase. Rhonda has started her 3rd book called “Belle.” Writing and inspirational speaking are her passions. Rhonda is married to Timothy Dent and currently resides in Stafford Va. They spend their spare time traveling and watching football. She is an avid Redskins fan (win or lose).
Secretary - Kim Smith is a Virginia native and is the founder of K.Y. Smith Coaching Solutions. Kim holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and is a Certified Motivational and Empowerment life coach recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Certified Coaches Alliance (CCA). She is also a Certified Real Colors and Crossroads Facilitator trained to deliver Evidence Based Cognitive Behavior Change Curriculums presented by the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA), and issued by the National Curriculum and Training Institute (NCTI). Additionally, she is a Certified Reentry Employment Specialist (RES). Kim resides in Woodbridge, VA with her husband.
